Nigeria suspends Twitter indefinitely
Nigeria’s government has indefinitely suspended Twitter after the platform removed a tweet posted by the president threatening to punish regional secessionists.
The ban has been attributed to the persistent use of Twitter for activities capable of undermining Nigeria's corporate existence and the government has neither explained the ban or how it would work.
Twitter has ruled the suspension deeply concerning.
