Incubus – Wish You Were Here (ORIGINAL PRE-9/11 Music Video) [2001]

The original and very first version of the music video for the 2001 song Wish You Were Here by Incubus. This was a song released in 2001 for their fourth studio album, Morning View. This version of the music video was supposed to be released in late 2001, but due to the September 11 attacks that happened, this version of the video wouldn't be on TV or even released officially.

It wouldn't be until May of 2002, where this original "bridge jump" version as well as behind the scenes footage would be included on the Morning View Sessions DVD from the band. The video wouldn't air officially on TV until years later when it was shown on Fuse TV. I can't remember the year, unfortunately.

The video had to be zoomed in in order to avoid a worldwide block by YouTube, so sorry about the low quality. Fortunately, I did find a version of the full video on the Internet Archive that wasn't so zoomed it. You can view it with the link provided below.

Incubus is an American rock band from Calabasas, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer José Pasillas while enrolled in Calabasas High School and later expanded to include bassist Alex "Dirk Lance" Katunich, and Gavin "DJ Lyfe" Koppel. The latter two were eventually replaced by bassist Ben Kenney and DJ Kilmore, respectively. Nicole Row replaced Kenney in 2024. As of October 2022, Incubus has generated 12.4 million U.S. album consumption units and over 23 million records worldwide.
