So wisdom isn't just all light and joy, like peace isn't the absence of dissent.
For me it is more about how we deal with trouble, if we can look at our shadow, work through our trauma towards healing.
This will not "remove" all the experiences we went through from our body and mind.
But it may lead to a place where we can integrate them into a fuller whole - and if we are lucky - find wisdom.
