How to Turn on Game Mode on TCL TV for Xbox, PS5 or Switch (Reduce input lag)

Turning on Game Mode on your TCL TV significantly reduces input lag, ensuring smoother, more responsive gameplay on consoles like Xbox, PS5, or Switch.

Step 1 — Connect Your Console
Use a high-speed HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 cable and plug your console directly into an HDMI port on the TCL TV. For best performance, use HDMI 2.1 ports if available for 4K/120Hz support

Avoid connecting through soundbars or AVRs, as they can add additional input lag

Step 2 — Access TV Settings
Press the Settings (gear icon) button on your TCL remote.
Navigate to Picture Settings or Display & Sound, then select Advanced Picture Settings on Google TV, Android TV, or Roku TV.

On Roku TVs, this may appear as Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) instead of Game Mode

Step 3 — Enable Game Mode or ALLM
Locate the Game Mode option or ALLM toggle and turn it On/Enabled
