Super Typhoon Goni / Rolly Strongest Storm of 2020, Landfall Possible Near Manila

Typhoon Goni has continued to explode in intensity and is now a Cat 5 Super Typhoon East of the Philippines. With max winds at 150 knots ( 270kph ) this storm has far exceeded the max strength of Amphan and Laura as the strongest storm of 2020 anywhere on the planet. Those out ahead of it need to start to prepare now especially in those cities in right front quadrant of the storm. From Legazpi to Casiguran a large storm surge and damaging winds is possible based on the forecast today. Further inland damaging winds and heavy rainfall will also pose a threat much of Luzon including Manila. Already Signal Force Warnings are being issued by PAGASA despite landfall not being until Sunday Evening.
