Bastia Corsica

A short film about the Port of Bastia when visiting by a cruise ship.

The town of Bastia is located in the north east of the island of Corsica. The town is in easy reach of the cruise ship port by walking and there is also a port shuttle bus put on free of charge which will take you to the port entrance.

Bastia is the gateway to the Cap Corse, a long peninsula of nature reserves and secret beaches.

It is surrounded by some of Corsica's best wine lands. Patrimonio is one of the most famous in the area and is open for tours.

The medieval town of St Florent is only half an hour west of Bastia.

There is plenty of local bars, restaurants and coffee shops lining the main streets and most are offering free wifi which is really handy if you don't want to spend the outrageous amount of money to connect to your ships wifi service, which is normally so unreliable it's not worth having anyway.
