I'm really quite chuffed with this. Does exactly what it says on the tin. I'm using it with my Samsung S7 Edge and it fits tightly in the centre of the phone and does not go over any of the buttons on the side such as volume controls and on/off button which is great if you need access to them. The one I had before was a pain in the neck as it would continually hit the volume controls with the slightest movement.

It can sit in 2 position on your tripod depending on what you require and it is simple to attach with the screw fixing on the top of your tripod.

The spring when opening is quite tight and it easily fits on my phone, which offers a nice tight grip to keep it nice and steady when filming or moving the tripod around. Although it fits tight I have not yet noticed any marking on my phone where the holder has been gripping.

I would definitely recommend this simple little gadget to anyone looking for a cost effective smartphone holder mount for your tripod.
