Tesla Gigafactory Texas 12 December 2020 Cyber Truck & Model Y Factory Construction Update (07:45AM)

Gigafactory Texas on 12 December 2020! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

Truly another extremely busy day on site today! Great weather and flying conditions allowed for some spectacular views of many key parts of the site this morning! There are some exciting new developments today, including the start of another steel structure! There are also many more new cranes on-site now, which is further evidence of accelerated construction as well as many footings now fully cured, which will allow for steel structural work to speed up by a significant amount!

Here are the key highlights from today:
- Biggest news is a brand-new steel structure being erected on the west foundation right where we saw them stacking columns and beams on my previous video! At the time I left they already had three sections in the works, and we get to see them installing columns and a beam!
- Many, many more footings now, including on the east of the original steel structure (new), all the way south on both sides of the zipper and continuing further south almost to the isolation foundations.
- GeoPier work on the south of the west foundation has nearly reached the southernmost point of the foundation! Footings are rapidly being excavated on top of the work they did, also working their way south
- The Two large cranes we saw being assembled on the previous video are now complete and in use today
- The isolation foundations are progressing quickly with the "top" concrete forms and braces extending the entire width of the north section while concrete is being poured as well. The western central area if almost filled with dirt now and they have started footings for the concrete columns on the east side of what remains of the "big pit".
- The concrete structure now has 26 installed columns, 5 roof sections, a new lower cross beam (on west side) and another roof beam getting ready for installation
