Tesla Gigafactory Texas 1 December 2020 Cyber Truck & Model Y Factory Construction Update (09:00 AM)

Gigafactory Texas on 1 December 2020! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!
A very cold (mid-30's and windy day at Giga Texas, but the skies were clear, and work was going at a frenetic pace everywhere. Because of this, I mainly stayed over the foundation area today, but there was plenty (too much?) to see in a single video, but I tried! We spend a lot of time in and around the “Big Pit” area as much activity was concentrated in this area today, but we also visit the steel growing steel structure and well over 1,000 footings (and counting) that have been completed on both half’s of the foundation.
In this video, I go over some estimated measurements of the steel structure since so many viewers have asked for this information. In addition, we do a quick overview of the areas visited by my drones before starting the footage.

Here are significant highlights from today:
- The steel structure has grown again, adding another 4 sections of the first floor, another 4 sections of second floor and roof truss structures. It looks like preparations were underway for another expansion as I departed
- Many more trucks arriving bringing materials, steel and concrete beams ... as I was leaving, two very long trucks carrying two huge concrete roof beams arrived but I was not able to capture a photo ... if you watch other Quad Squad videos taken later today, you will see them, possibly even installed
- Over a thousand footings have been completed and dozens more underway ... almost as far as you can see there are footings on both foundation halves. The march south with construction of footings on both halves of the foundation seems to be accelerating.
- Speaking of footings, they have now installed large footings completely across the area formerly considered part of a interior "road" ... I honestly have no idea what to think of this as it's pretty clear a contiguous long central road is not happening now
- There were 4 concrete roof beams installed and two more plus a concrete cross beam arriving this morning while I was there, and we see one of them installed. What is really interesting is it appeared that they were preparing to also install two double-T roof concrete prefabricated sections, most likely where they just installed the fourth roof beam. We may see this completed later today!
- The "Zippered" excavation area has clearly begun a new phase of construction as wooden ladders and forms were being placed in the pit area and it looked like supervisors were preparing for work to begin. No GeoPier work was going on in the pit as it was completely vacated for the next step to begin. Could we get clues finally what this area is for very soon?
- I did fly around the east and north areas but nothing much was going on, so I decided to concentrate on the main foundation area which was remarkably busy today
