2 Ways to Say HURRY UP in Italian🤌⏰🏃

Which one do you use MOST?🤌⏰🏃

2 Ways to say HURRY UP like an Italian!

First up, we have “Fare presto”. This translates to “Make it quick” or “Hurry up”.

- When you’re in a hurry to get somewhere, you can say, “Fare presto!”

- But what if you’re late? Say, “Sono in ritardo”, which means “I’m late”. Here’s a quick memory hook, think of the word ‘tardi’ to help you remember the word for ‘late’ in Italian

- Let me give you an example:

“Dove sei stato? La riunione è iniziata mezz’ora fa.”
(Where have you been? The meeting started half an hour ago.)

“Mi dispiace, sono in ritardo. Il traffico era terribile.”
(I’m sorry, I’m late. The traffic was terrible.)

Remember, even if you’re in a rush, keep practicing your Italian!
