Cold air intakes vs. ram air intakes — both promise more power, better throttle response, and that aggressive intake sound. But not all intakes are equal. Cold air intakes pull cooler, denser air from outside the engine bay, giving better airflow and small performance gains. Ram intakes, on the other hand, are shorter and louder but end up sucking in hot air straight from the engine bay — which actually hurts performance. So, when it comes to intake mods, which one would you choose?
