Sequential vs Compound Turbo, What’s the REAL Difference?

Sequential and compound turbos are both types of twin-turbo setups but they work in very different ways.

Sequential Turbo: Uses a small turbo for low RPM and a bigger turbo for high RPM. This balances fast spool time with strong top end power, giving you boost across the entire rev range.

Compound Turbo: One turbo feeds the other, stacking boost for insane pressure. Perfect for diesels (huge power, cooler temps, efficiency), but not practical for most gas engines, of course with few exceptions.
