What the jury saw at the Tim Bosma murder trial: Exhibit #82 — What police found in Mark Smich's house.
Dellen Millard, 30, of Toronto and Mark Smich, 28, of Oakville are on trial for first-degree murder in the sad case of Tim Bosma, who vanished May 6, 2013, after accompanying two strangers on a test drive of the pick-up truck he was selling online from his home in the Ancaster community of Hamilton, Ont., Canada.
The prosecutors’ exhibit #82 is photographs of the search of Smich’s home on Montrose Abbey Drive in Oakville, Ont. He lived in a well-kept, detached, suburban house with his mother — but his bedroom stood out starkly.
“The room was unkempt, unlike the rest of the house, which was neat and tidy,” Hamilton police officer Mario Rizzo said. “It was almost like a pig pen.”
