16/04/2026 - Getting brighter by midday - Morning Weather Forecast UK – Met Office Weather

Further clustered showers across much of western and central Scotland to start the day while Northern Ireland, England and Wales will see drier and brighter skies albeit with a few scattered showers. Showers will persist with a brisk breeze across northern and western Scotland through the morning but by lunchtime most areas should see some breaks in the clouds and hazy sunshine.
