Jock Itch (Tinea Cruris) is a fungal skin infection caused by fungi known as dermatophytes, which can cause Jock Itch in both men and women. In this lesson, we discuss these dermatophytes, along with risk factors for infection, signs and symptoms, similarities and differences with Candidal intertrigo (yeast infection), how Jock Itch is diagnosed and how it is treated (jock itch creams etc.).
