Persona 5 Tactica Repaint Your Heart is Stupid
Hey guys it’s Tiller!
Today I’m reviewing Persona 5 Tactica’s $20 DLC, Repaint Your Heart.
This one is kind of rough so strap in.
Tactica, is a full Persona story. It’s well developed and fleshed out and while it isn’t going to count for much, it’s good enough that I think Tactica deserves its place in the series.
Repaint Your Heart is pretty much the polar opposite. It’s a rushed, fanservice ridden mess, that doesn’t add anything meaningful to the characters involved. The concepts are good, but the execution is dull.
Repaint Your Heart takes Joker, Akechi and Kasumi and thrusts them into their own private adventure using Tactica’s gameplay. I think the new mechanics within are pretty neat, but I think the rest of it is kind of… disappointing.
The story is bland and underdeveloped, the journey is about 3 hours long, and it is and has to be a memory wipe spin off because it takes place during an existing arc of P5.
Regardless, my biggest disappointment is relegating two of my favorite
characters in P5’s cast to before their most meaningful moments.
But anyways, if you agree or disagree, leave a comment letting me know your thoughts about Repaint Your Heart.
You can leave a like if you enjoyed the video, and subscribe to the channel for more things Persona, ATLUS, and JRPG related.
Thanks for watching and I’ll see you guys next time!
