Brand New Horse Colt - Pibby’s First Foal

April 20, 2021 - This little guy is by the palomino stallion Frenchmans Elvis and out of my best saddle mare Pebbles Adoc Tivio, better known as Pibby. He is under six hours old in the first couple clips of this video, and is just barely dried off. He was still figuring out how to nurse, but was surprisingly strong and steady on his feet. He was so thrifty!

This little dude, “Smooch,” is Pibby’s first foal, and he couldn’t have been nicer. I’m just totally tickled with him! If he’s anything like his dam he will be one hell of a horse. It’s still a tossup on his color at this point, but hopefully it will be obvious after his foal shed.
