Riverside pursuit standoff

RIVERSIDE: On 01-16-19 at approximately 10am, Riverside police were involved in a pursuit of a small bread delivery truck. Police responded to Riverside Community hospital after a suspect asked the driver for a ride. The driver refused and the suspect jumped in the truck and drove off. Police pursued it through city streets before it came to a stop. The suspect ignored commands to exit the truck and a standoff ensued. SWAT was requested and the truck was pinned by two armored bear cats from Riverside police and Corona police. The suspect surrendered without incident.
