Sun Valley LAFD major emergency fire

SUN VALLEY: On 11-19-22 at approximately 7:39pm, LAFD responding to a wind driven vegetation fire involving two large commercial buildings near Penrose street and the 5 freeway. Units arrived to find heavy fire conditions and immediately requested a major emergency response. Firefighters were able to gain control of the blaze with no injuries reported. The cause is under investigation.
