AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on May 13 strongly criticised the Centre #shorts
AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on May 13 strongly criticised the Centre over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak controversy and called on India's Gen-Z to demand accountability for repeated exam leaks.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Kejriwal questioned why Indian youth could not force action against those responsible for paper leak scandals, while referring to recent student-led political movements in Nepal and Bangladesh.
"If the Gen-Z of Nepal and Bangladesh can come out on the roads and change their governments, then can't our Gen-Z send ministers involved in paper leak incidents to jail?" Kejriwal said.
The former Delhi Chief Minister made the remarks while reacting to the cancellation of NEET-UG 2026 by the National Testing Agency (NTA) following allegations of large-scale paper leaks and exam irregularities.
Kejriwal alleged that multiple exam leaks in recent years had destroyed the future of lakhs of students and claimed that such incidents had repeatedly occurred under BJP governments.
He also questioned whether action against masterminds alone was enough and demanded accountability from those responsible for overseeing the examination system.
The statement quickly triggered strong reactions online, with supporters backing his criticism of exam leaks while others accused him of making politically provocative comparisons involving neighbouring countries.
The NEET-UG 2026 controversy has already led to multiple arrests and investigations across several states, with the matter now under intense national scrutiny.
