Ion Channels as Drug Targets - Medicinal Chemistry 1.18
The ion channel protein family is involved in almost all aspects of life. And because of how important the ion channels are in human physiology, they are related to many diseases and being able to control and regulate the channels become really important. Currently, the ion channel family represents one of the largest target classes for existing drugs.
--About me--
I am a computational chemist in the pharmaceutical industry. I created the Mole Man Chem channel to explain some basic medicinal and biochemistry concepts because I believe the best way to relearn a concept is through teaching.
