Mt. Sneffels 14,150 Ft. Colorado. SW Ridge Class 3 14er Hike

Join on this awesome adventure to the summit of 14er Mt. Sneffels in the spectacular San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado. In this video I begin by hiking up the 4wd jeep road to upper trailhead in Yankee Boy Basin at 12,385 Ft. From there I ascend Sneffels via the standard easy class 3 route through 2 steep loose gullies and a class 3 notch. At the summit I joined up with 2 hikers and we descended the more technical class 3 southwest ridge off of the summit down to Blue Lakes Pass. From there I hiked the remaining 3.5 miles back to my car. This summit had the best views I've ever seen on a 14er and both routes were alot of fun! Enjoy!
