The Relationship Between Bladder Dysfunction & Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
This interview has both Hannah and Dr. Shrikhande speak with Dr. Vapnek and take a look into how the function of the bladder affects the pelvic floor and surrounding area. It's a fascinating talk with an amazing urologist.
While Dr. Vapnek’s practice includes all of the urological disorders found in most urology practices, his recognized areas of expertise are urinary incontinence, neuro-urology, urodynamics and female urology. A large number of his patients have problems with urinary incontinence or bladder control problems from neurological disorders including spinal cord injury. In addition, spinal cord injured patients have found Dr. Vapnek a caring physician who can also effectively counsel and treat their issues with sexuality and intimacy.
