Is it time for a change?

Ever been away on holiday - out of your normal routine and felt happier, healthier, less stressed and not so tired?

Our day-to-day routine is the biggest factor affecting our health, fitness, and wellbeing.

What we do every day, determines our success in every area of our lives.

If you had 8 hours uninterrupted solid sleep, no kids coming in at 1am, or your partner snoring.
If you hadn’t opened that ‘really’ important email just before bed and spent the next 2 hours answering it, or worse still, spent the whole night worrying about it.

Would you be healthier and fitter?

The answer is yes.

But life doesn’t work that way, right?

Take me for example. A move halfway across the country meant I was commuting 6 hours on top of a 10-hour workday. It's no surprise I grabbed food on the go and the gym became a distant memory.

As this became my new norm my trousers got tighter. Then, I had to go shopping for new clothes as my old ones simply didn’t fit anymore.

Was that a big enough hint to do something? No!

When we are so caught up in day-to-day life, we go into existence mode…

“I'll just grab that sandwich. Better make it 2 as breakfast was just a coffee. Oh a meal deal... I’ll grab some crisps and a drink too” soon becomes the new norm.

When you're in it, it's difficult to see what's happening.

Unpicking where you are and getting back to where you want to be, isn't easy. The cards are stacked against you.

When you finally reach your tipping point – mine was waking up in CCU after collapsing at a clients – you’re still no wiser as to where to begin the journey. That’s when you need help. For me, back then, it was a chance meeting with Ryan, but how Unstoppabl was born is a story for another day.

Sufficed to say when the journey is mapped out for you, and you have support every step of the way, there is no hurdle you can’t get over. And like all good journeys, you learn a lot on the way.
