Scotland’s First Minister facing vote of no-confidence
Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf is leaving his political fate to his rivals after ending the Scottish National Party’s power-sharing agreement with the Greens.
He is now facing a motion of no-confidence in Parliament and will lose if all opposition parties vote against him.
“I’m not planning to, of course, lose the vote of no confidence; I plan to win that vote of no confidence,” Mr Yousaf said.
“I’m planning to win.”
Mr Yousaf rose to the position in March of last year following the resignation of Nicola Sturgeon.
