Hey kids! On Weekend Wankshop 196, Uncle Ben Eller here is finally giving you all something you've been wanting for a very long time... some full coverage Dimebag Darrel action! On this episode, i'm gonna be showing you all how to play Dime's legendary Pantera "Walk" solo, lick-by-lick! This is yet another awesome solo that i see badly transcribed all the time. Tons of fake news tabs for this one floating around out there. But with good reason, this is a tricky solo with a LOT of odd timing, monster bends, whammy bar tricks, plus Dime's usual bevy of sweet blues licks and vibrato. He also tosses around that weird fake delay trick in there, too, which is so sick!
Playing my Ibanez RG520 with Dimarzio EVO and Gravity Storm. You'll wanna be on your neck pickup for this solo, BTW, if you want to sound more like Dime.
