The secret is, its not ALWAYS his alternate picking powers you're hearing... its his brilliant combination of lightning fast picking combined with strategically-placed legato for a shred bonanza!! And you're about to learn exactly how he does it!
This lick uses his signature trick combined with the A minor scale; it starts off across the bottom two strings (ala Technical Difficulties by Racer X), then ascends up a big 3 note per string scale pattern. Its surprisingly easy and sounds SICK!
