Super Typhoon Saola entering the South Chia Sea - August 30, 2023

Super Typhoon Saola has intensified very quickly on the last day, reaching the Category 5 status and has been affecting the Batanes with strong winds and rainfall during those days. It is expected that Saola will lose strenght over the next days as it approaches China.
