With the three-dimensional illusion created by the composition, it will appear realistic and look like the flower are ready to be picked from the planters, and that the tips of the boots are popping out of the canvas. Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas Brushes: 1/2 inch flat bristle (large), #11 round synthetic brush (medium), #7 round synthetic (small)
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, deep yellow, burnt umber (brown), burnt sienna (rust), fire red, fluorescent purple, green oxide
Other: palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint the sky with white, yellow, green and black
2. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint the path with brown an white
3. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint the grass with brown, green, yellow and white
4. #11 round brush – Paint base coat of boots with yellow and white
5. #11 round brush – Paint base coat of plant pots with burnt sienna
6. #11 round brush – Finish pots with burnt sienna, black, yellow and white
7. #11 round brush - Paint stems and leaves with black and green
8. #7 round brush – Paint sole of boot with black
9. #7 round brush – Finish boots with yellow, brown, black and white
10. #11 round and 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint purple flowers with purple and white
11. #11 round brush – Paint roses with red, yellow, white and green
12. #11 and #7 round brush – Paint daisies with white and yellow
13. #11 round brushes – Paint shadow on ground with black and brown
14. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint sunbeams with white
15. #7 round brush – Sign with black
