MATERIALS:
Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas
Brushes: #14 filbert, #12 round synthetic, #0 round synthetic
Acrylic Paint: fire red, titanium white, burnt umber, mars black, green oxide, deep yellow
Other: palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. #14 filbert brush - Paint background with white, brown, black and white
2. #12 round brush - Paint branches with brown and white
3. #12 round brush - Paint base coat of bird with red
4. #0 round brush - Paint the legs with brown, black and white
5. #0 round brush - Paint the mask with black
6. #12 round brush - Paint the feathers with black, brown, red, yellow and white
7. #0 round brush - Finish the face with black, white, red and yellow
8. #12 round brush - Paint the snow with white
9. #0 round brush - Signature with black
