Hi friends of fingerstyle guitar music,
this is my little fingerstyle solo guitar arrangement of the jazz standard "Doxy", written by Sunny Rollins. It first recorded in 1954 for the Miles Davis album "Bags’ Groove", which was released 3 years later in 1957. Besides Miles Davis and Sunny Rollins there were jazz giants playing like Horace Silver and Thelonius Monk - so a number of these album tracks became jazz standards. The tune "Doxy" also was recorded by John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon, Branford Marsalis, Joe Pass and many others.
