New Years Eve, the time of parties and celebrations that end in more missing persons cases than you can imagine. It was New Years Eve in 1959. Mary Flanagan would go to work in West Ham and never return home. There was said to be an after work party that night and yet her coworkers said she hadn't even been in for the past two weeks. Her family said she had just broken off an engagement with a man named Tom but other than that, they knew nothing about him. Fast forward 25 years in New York and Samuel Todd would be at a New Years Eve college party with friends when he would jog down the road and vanish into the dark. Were these simple runaways or were these strange disappearances much more complicated?
