163 | I'm wondering lately why so many movies from long ago are being remade. Is Hollywood suffering from a loss of imagination? Some of the remakes are successful, others not so much. In this video I discuss the movie that was made from John LeCarre's "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy". The BBC made a 6-part series for TV in 1979, followed up with "Smiley's People"
