How to Create a Resin Coffin Trinket Dish by Amanda from Nightshades Art Studio.
Product used in this video was a topcoating art epoxy from ArtWorks Resin Canada Inc website link below.
Important Note: Typically when casting with resin in moulds, we recommend a Casting type Resin, however, some customers enjoy the quicker cure time of a topcoating Resin (such as iCoat CT60 art/countertop topcoating resin designed for art, tables, tumblers, trays & more, so it’s meant to be poured in very shallow layers only. If using in a shallow mould, be sure to pour at just under 1/4" per layer, in order to prevent overheating & premature exotherm. More info available on our website.

Safety Note
Whenever using an epoxy resin, please use nitrile gloves only, because latex, vinyl & rubber are not chemical resistant. Even with no VOC resins, It is important to use in a well ventilated space. If you are using any resin frequently and manipulating with heat (where you can accidentally bring it to smoke point), consider using an organic vapour respirator. When you are sanding any resins, it is important to wear a particulate mask to prevent breathing in any resin powder/dust. Please don't use any 2 part epoxy resins near children or pets. Refer to manufacturer’s MSDS & more safety info on our website.
