Microaggressions, isolation and dubious assaults that obscure Lusanda’s love for tech bring her to an impasse that lends her talk to widening the scope of legitimate concerns in STEM.
Her talk aims to bring to light the love-hate story that she, and probably millions of women around the world, have with the STEM field. Lusanda is a multi-dimensional woman with a problem solving and analytical yet creative personality that she attributes to her broad set of interests and skills.
With an interest in network, internet security and HCI, Lusanda is obtaining her Masters Degree in Computer Science at the University of Cape Town.
