A female cadet in the Indian Army. With our wisdom, she explained how bravery and a never-giving-up attitude would give us the power to fight through the odds under any condition. She is a silver medalist of the 1993 batch. She was awarded by India's President, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, in February 2018. Maj.Priya Jhingan, an Indian Army officer, was the first woman to join the army in 1993. She graduated as a silver medalist from the inaugural women's course. After a decade as a Judge Advocate General officer, she advocated for equal roles for women in the army. Her efforts led to the Supreme Court's 2020 ruling for women to command units. Post-retirement, she taught, edited, and even participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 1. She scaled Mount Kilimanjaro with students, received recognition from the President, and lives with her family in Chandigarh.
