The most hospitable people I’ve ever met during my trips - Uzbek Locals 🇺🇿

In fact, it is a USP of this country. We probably take it for granted or don’t pay much heed to how impactful it is to meet the right people and have pleasant experiences with them during our travels. It’s the most underrated thing.

But being in Uzbekistan made me realize and reminded me of how important it is to meet those who don’t discriminate based on our color or language. I couldn’t converse a single word of Uzbek, except cheers 😂, yet people were super friendly, ultra welcoming and heart warming. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe them or how I felt. It is in fact, the sole reason I want to go back. The people of Uzbekistan!

You travel for so many reasons and during my first year in the travel business, I’ve come across some really mindless soul-less reasons. No matter what your reason is, it’s never people. Yet, one bad encounter or one racial discrimination experience can ruin your entire vacation experience and stain the memory of that country all at once. Give importance to this aspect guys. Everything does not always have to revolve around money and monuments. There is more. There is more to Uzbekistan 🇺🇿.
