Visit The Ghost Village | Experience Zip Line Adventures | Top Places to Visit in Ras al-Khaimah UAE

When you go off to a new city or country, do you visit off-beaten places or just touristy things? Well, on our recent road trip post lockdown, we decided to explore some off-beaten and touristy places.

We looked up top places to visit in Ras al-Khaimah uae and found some interesting activities to explore. For starters we decided why not visit the ghost village in Ras Al Khaimah. Over the many years I had heard a lot of rumors and stories about this peculiar place. And who doesn’t like an interesting experience especially a haunted one. So our first stop was this place called Al Jazeerah Al Hamra. Well firstly we were disappointed that we didn’t see any ghosts. But this place is definitely worth a visit. It is less ghostly and more abandoned I’d say. It has a sad history which makes it feel even more creepy. Plus I doubt there are any tour operators or companies that encourage tourists to visit this place. The quietness we felt in this place was truly eerie. It wasn’t peace, it was disturbing.
Well, for the next stop we chose something slightly more touristy. In fact, we got couple of vouchers for this activity courtesy RAK Tourism, @raktourism. We visited the tallest peak in UAE, Jebel Jais Mountains. The views are truly breathtaking and a visit to these mountains during the winter is well worth it. This place has been catching on game in the past few years. However, what made it world famous was the longest zipline adventure in the world. The Jebel Jais Flight! @Toroverde are the tour operators that run these flights extreme my safely and smoothly. Apart from the flight there are couple of other tours they run as well. So you have a few activities to choose from. Or if you don’t wish to participate in any of these adventurous activities, there is a restaurant on top as well, where I stayed back to have lunch and enjoy the marvelous views. Basically, my husband tried the longest zip line flight in the world and had a wonderful experience and he would absolutely advise everyone to Experience zip line adventures. You won’t regret it.
