Fluid Symphonies 瀲動樂章 - Zheng Lu 鄭路

Zheng Lu will hold his first solo exhibition ” Fluid Symphonies ” at Anima gallery in Doha, Qatar from 9th October to 21th December 2017 and will present his newest artworks ” Water in Dripping” series in Arabic language. Zheng Lu began his “Water in Dripping” series in 2008. These gravity-defying sculptural works use stainless Chinese characters to capture the moments of still water in movement and is an important fruit of his longtime study of traditional Chinese culture. This series in Arabic language is based on an anonymous Arabic poem to extend the issue that Zheng Lu keeps exploring through his artworks about culture, time, reality and nihility.

鄭路將於2017 年10 月9 日至12 月21 日于卡達爾杜哈Anima畫廊舉辦中東第一場個展”瀲動樂章”，本次展覽將展出最新作品”淋漓”阿拉伯文系列。鄭路的”淋漓”系列始於2008 年。這些反重力的凋塑作品以不銹鋼文字為元素構成了運動之中靜止的水之姿態。這是鄭路多年來研習傳統文化，進而繼承發展的重要系列作品。阿拉伯文的”淋漓”系列選用一首佚名的阿拉伯詩歌，延續藝術家探討的命題：文化、時間、真實、虛空。
