It is the first of a 2 part video around making an IoT connected bathroom weighing scale. This will help you to keep track of your weight over time. In this video, I have taken a cheap bathroom scale and connected an external load cell amplifier module based on HX711 to get the measurement out o the scale. Unfortunately, the scale does not have any other interface to collect data, so I had to use an external amplifier. The only drawback is that while the scale's di[lay is on, the output of the amplifier is not that accurate and one the display goes off it shows the actual weight. Again this can be compensated which I have not tried in the video. Certainly, you can check out yourself and let me know in the comments.
