New Boston Marathon-Themed Beer Available Nationwide
Even if you didn’t BQ, you can still have the beer.

Every April, the staff of Runner’s World looks forward to two events: the Boston Marathon and Samuel Adams’s release of a special beer brewed in Boston to celebrate the Boston Marathon.
You have to be in Boston, though, and it’s a limited release, you have to know where to find it, which is kind of tricky.
But luckily, Sam Adams now has an offshoot called Marathon Brewing, and they’re brewing 26.2 Brew.
It’s a clever name, but it’s also going national, so you’re going to be able to find 26.2 Brew at the end of one of your local races, maybe at your local bar, at your local store for sure.
It’s very similar to what we’ve been getting in Boston the last few years.
Slight change, a little bit of a difference.
There’s pink Himalayan sea salt, a little coriander, and it’s a gauze style
So it’s a little bit sour when it goes down.
Little bit salty and a whole lot crushable.
After a race, this is going to be a really good drinking beer, especially on a hot summer day when you get a race done.
Now if Boston is cold and wet again this year, yeah, we’ll probably still drink some anyway.
Now, you don’t have to BQ to drink this beer.
You do, however, have to choose a different beer if you want to run a beer mile.
This is only four percent alcohol, it won’t cut it by beer mile rules, so, you’re out of luck there.
It’s 26.2 Brew, a new release by Marathon Brewing Company, and it’s going to be nationwide real soon.
New Boston Marathon-themed beer available nationwide.
