In this episode we depart from the beautiful Stone Village of Castelo Novo, and we head to the breath taking Portuguese coast to stay near the village where Dane grew up.
The episode includes a brief history of the golden age of Portugal’s maritime empire, and the ancient fishing culture that thrives on its coasts, as well as drone footage we took of massive waves at Nazaré.
Also Dane and his friends Luis and Claus surfed beater boards on some heavy shore break, perfecting the art of the Wipeout.
