This week we are showing our travel vlog about visiting three gorgeous villages deeper into the countryside of Portugal. It was so quiet and authentic to stay in Castelo Novo for six days and we maybe saw one other tourist during our time there. Monsanto Village sees more tourists but it is completely worth it in every way to make the beautiful drive to see it. The fresh swimming holes in Castelo Novo and Penha Garcia were perfect for the sunny afternoons with the kids and we all ate SO MUCH fruit around the area... especially figs and grapes. You will love this area for your next Portugal trip!
