Beer battered fish better than takeway. Fresh and light and so easy! For our beer battered fish, see recipe below

INGREDIENTS:
1 x cup of plain flour
1 x egg
300ml x beer
1/2 kilo x fish fillets
300- 400ml vegetable oil for frying
METHOD:
-salt to taste fish or whatever ingredient is going to be battered
-mix flour, egg and beer into a bowl and whisk till smooth and even
-add additional flavourings, dried or fresh herbs, cheese etc
-add all the fish to the beer batter mixture ensuring that it all coats evenly
-in a deep pan or saucepan heat oil to high temperature
-then add peices to hot oil ensuring that the fish does not stick together
-when golden brown remove and place on plate lined with paper
