Static Pipe bursting using Ductile Slitter

Ductile slitter used to replace non-fracturable host pipe such as Ductile Iron, Steel and repair clamps. As these host pipe materials are non-fracturable, a ductile slitter is used to split the host pipe. An expander then follows which opens up the host pipe material. These projects have some limits, in which a thorough feasibility study is recommended to understand risks. Fracturable host pipe, such as Cast Iron, PVC and Asbestos Cement (AC), are much easier pipe bursting projects.
