NO more bird's beak, Flatten profile near the tip or Overhang near the heel or Having a thick unsharpened heel.

Number 1: For the Tip - Movement to follow the shape/profile of the edge with pressure at the fingers. On the opposite hand (left hand) to press on the side of knife (right side of knife) to lead the curve of the movement of the knife (Which works for me.. ) Do the same thing for for the other side of knife.

Number 2: Heel - It is pretty straight forward Where your finger is where the steel removal is happening. The left side of knife (being a rightie), place the blade perpendicular to stone works for me. As for the right side of the blade, at an angle 45 Degree, with your fingers apply pressure on the heel when sharpening.
