Virtual Field Trip: Cottonwood-Baggs Fish Passage Project
A healthy river means providing migratory trout, especially spawning cutthroat, a means to migrate to and from tributary spawning areas. This means upstream fish passage at irrigation dams and fish screens to prevent entrainment of trout in irrigation systems.
Join the Clark Fork Coalition, Watershed Restoration Coalition (WRC), Natural Resource Damage Program (NRDP), and Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS, USDA) for a virtual visit to a new innovative fish passage project on Cottonwood-Baggs Creeks in the Deer Lodge Valley.
