Love Me Tender | I never got to meet my mother’s father because he passed when she was young and whenever she speaks of him her face lights up and it’s clear to me it’s a time in her life she remembers fondly of when she felt completely loved unconditionally, but not any kind of love, a special kind of love ... her fathers love.

Ever since I was young she told me about this song that her father used to sing and even recorded. I’ve always wanted to sing this for my mother to remind her of that love within a musical hug and to hopefully bring back those treasured memories. This ones for you Mother; I’m so proud of you and how far you’ve come regardless of what ever life throws at you.
