Hobbling along with a broken toe makes landscape photography a tough gig, but I refuse to give up on my hopes for a killer shot during a monster storm on Vancouver Island.

With drenched clothing and sopping equipment, what will break first, me or the camera?

As the leviathans from the deep crash against the shore, I keep searching for that monster wave...until it finds me!

Amanda tries to do an impersonation of the Fototripper - it is worryingly accurate. Will we get locked out of the car and which chocolate bar is best? There's only one way to find out.

Whatever you do though, do NOT complain about the dust spots on my sensor.
