Hot Cider Recipe:
2 quarts Apple Juice or Cider
6 whole Allspice
10 whole cloves
2 Cinnamon sticks, broken in half

Bring to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat, cover & simmer for 30 minutes.
Crock pot Instructions: 4 hours on low

Apple Dumpling Recipe
6 medium Apples, half, core & peel

Combine:
2 cups AP flour
2. 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

whisk together and add 2/3 cup shortening , mix with a pastry blender until crumbly.
add 1/2 cup milk. combine .
roll dough out and cut into 12 pie shaped pieces . brush with melted butter & sprinkle with a cinnamon sugar mixture. (2 tablespoons cinnamon to 1/2 cup sugar) Place in a baking dish and cover with the sauce. bake for 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees.

Sauce recipe:
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups water
1/4 cup melted butter
